DELIVERY AND SHIPPING POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

This Delivery and Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to the delivery of products purchased from LaVa Clothing's website (www.lavaclothing.in). By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. SHIPPING COVERAGE

2.1 Domestic Shipping

LaVa Clothing currently ships to all major cities and most pin codes across India. We deliver to:

  • All metropolitan cities (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad)
  • All state capitals and major tier-2 cities
  • Most tier-3 cities and towns
  • Selected rural areas (subject to courier partner coverage)

2.2 Areas with Limited Service

Some remote locations, particularly in the following regions, may have limited delivery options or extended delivery timeframes:

  • Certain areas in Northeast India
  • Remote locations in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh
  • Andaman & Nicobar Islands
  • Lakshadweep
  • Areas with restricted access due to geographic constraints

3. SHIPPING METHODS AND TIMEFRAMES

3.1 Standard Shipping

  • Delivery Timeframe: 5-9 business days for metro cities; 7-14 business days for other urban areas; 10-14 business days for remote locations
  • Shipping Fee: Free shipping on orders above ₹799; ₹99 shipping fee for orders below ₹799

4. ORDER PROCESSING

4.1 Processing Time

  • Standard orders are processed within 24-48 hours of payment confirmation
  • Custom/personalized t-shirt orders require 2-3 additional business days for processing
  • Bulk orders (more than 10 items) may require 3-5 business days for processing

4.2 Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched:

  • You will receive a tracking number via email and SMS
  • Real-time tracking updates will be available through your LaVa Clothing account
  • Our courier partners' tracking systems can be accessed through links provided in shipping confirmation emails

5. DELIVERY PROCESS

5.1 Delivery Attempts

Our courier partners will make two delivery attempts:

  • If the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, you will receive a notification with details about the second attempt
  • If the second attempt fails, the package will be held at the nearest courier facility for 5 working days
  • After 5 days, the package will be returned to our warehouse

5.2 Address Accuracy

It is the customer's responsibility to:

  • Provide complete and accurate delivery address information
  • Include landmark details where applicable
  • Provide a valid contact number that is reachable during delivery hours

Delays or failed deliveries due to incorrect address information will be the customer's responsibility.

6. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES

Since we currently ship only within India, all applicable taxes are included in the final price displayed at checkout as per Indian GST regulations. There are no additional customs or duties for domestic shipments.

7. COVID-19 AND OTHER DISRUPTIONS

During pandemics, natural disasters, or other major disruptions:

  • Delivery timeframes may be extended
  • Certain areas may face temporary service suspensions
  • Contactless delivery protocols may be implemented
  • We will communicate any changes or delays via email and on our website

8. SHIPPING OF SPECIAL ITEMS

8.1 Bulk Orders

For bulk orders (more than 20 t-shirts):

  • Special shipping arrangements may be made
  • Additional processing time may be required
  • Please contact our customer service for customized shipping solutions

8.2 Custom/Personalized Items

For custom-printed or personalized t-shirts:

  • Additional production time will be added to the standard processing time
  • These items will be shipped once design approval and production are complete
  • The shipping timeframe begins after production is completed

9. LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

In the rare event that your package is lost or damaged during transit:

  1. Please contact our customer service within 48 hours of the expected delivery date
  2. Provide your order number and any tracking information
  3. We will initiate an investigation with our shipping partner
  4. Depending on the outcome, we will offer a replacement or refund

10. RECEIVING YOUR ORDER

10.1 Inspection at Delivery

We recommend that you:

  • Inspect the package for external damage before accepting delivery
  • Check the contents immediately after receiving your package
  • Retain all packaging materials until you've verified that your order is correct and undamaged
