Founded in 2025, LaVa Clothing was born from the creative partnership of two sisters-in-law who turned their family bond into a vibrant business. Our name "LaVa" represents the perfect fusion of our identities—derived from our names MithiLa and ShiVani—just as our business merges our complementary talents and shared passion.
We—Mithila and Shivani—became family when Mithila married Shivani's brother. As bhabhi and nanand (sister-in-law and husband's sister), we discovered a shared love for design and fashion that transcended our new family relationship. What began as casual conversations during family gatherings has evolved into one of India's most distinctive up-and-coming t-shirt brands.
