CANCELLATION, REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

This Cancellation, Refund and Return Policy applies to all purchases made on LaVa Clothing website lavaclothing.in. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. This policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the E-commerce Rules, 2020 of India.

2. ORDER CANCELLATION

2.1 Cancellation by Customer

You may cancel your order under the following conditions:

  • Pre-Shipment Cancellation: You may cancel your order at any time before it has been shipped. For pre-shipment cancellations, you will receive a full refund of the purchase amount.
  • Cancellation Process: To cancel an order, you must log in to your account and select "Cancel Order" from your order details page
  • Confirmation: You will receive a cancellation confirmation via email once your request has been processed.

2.2 Cancellation by LaVa Clothing

We reserve the right to cancel orders under the following circumstances:

  • Suspected fraudulent transactions
  • Errors in pricing or product information
  • Out-of-stock situations despite inventory tracking
  • Failure of payment authorization
  • Violation of our Terms of Service
  • Unforeseen circumstances affecting our ability to fulfill the order

In case we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund of any payment made.

3. RETURNS POLICY

3.1 Return Eligibility

You may return products purchased from our website within 15 days from the date of delivery if:

  • The product received is damaged or defective
  • The product received is different from what was ordered
  • The size or fit is not as expected
  • You are unsatisfied with the quality of the product

3.2 Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it
  • Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
  • With original tags and labels attached
  • In the original packaging, where possible

3.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Customized or personalized t-shirts
  • Products marked as "non-returnable" on the product page
  • Items purchased during special sales or promotions (if specified)
  • Intimate wear and undergarments (for hygiene reasons)

3.4 Return Process

To return a product:

  1. Initiate a return request through your account on our website or contact our customer service
  2. Fill out the return form received via email or included in your package
  3. Pack the product securely in appropriate packaging
  4. Attach the return shipping label (if provided) or ship to the address provided
  5. Ship the return package using a reliable courier service

3.5 Return Shipping

  • Free Returns: For returns due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product), return shipping will be free. We will provide a prepaid shipping label or reimburse your shipping costs.
  • Customer Returns: For returns due to change of mind, size exchanges, or other customer preferences, shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

4. REFUND POLICY

4.1 Refund Process

After receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will notify you about the status of your refund:

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 business days
  • Credit will be automatically applied to your original payment method
  • For payment made through cash on delivery (COD), refunds will be processed via bank transfer or other available electronic payment methods

5. EXCHANGES

5.1 Exchange Process

If you wish to exchange a product for a different size, color, or design:

  1. Initiate an exchange request through your account or contact customer service
  2. Return the original product following the return process
  3. Once we receive the original product, we will ship the replacement item
  4. If the replacement item has a different price, you will either be charged the difference or refunded the excess amount

5.2 Exchange Availability

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we will issue a refund for the original purchase.

6. CANCELLATION OF CUSTOMIZED ORDERS

For customized or personalized t-shirts:

  • Cancellation is only possible before production begins
  • Once production has started, cancellation will not be possible
  • Customized products are non-returnable unless they are defective or damaged
